Resources:
Large Group: Literacy: We have just finished our 22nd week of Launchpad. We are officially learned and reviewed all 26 letters and their sounds. We are doing a lot with blending and segmenting sounds which is great help when writing letters in the writing center or our journals.
Math: The month of March was short but jammed pack with great concepts. We reviewed shapes, continued our pattern, learned how to use tallies and practiced our doubles (ie. 2+2=4).
Science/Social Studies: We have been learning about community helpers. We know their place of work, tools they use, what they wear, and if any vehicles are involved. We also discussed different types of transportation.
SEL: we are focusing on sharing and taking turns and language to do so (ie. Asking "Can I have a turn?)
